Love for Liberia

“I can only say that I felt morally obliged to do what I did.” A gripping statement made by Nelson Mandela at the opening of his April 20th, 1964 trial. Though the circumstances vary in degree- the notion to act; the call to move- is no different. When CreativeWave Movement encountered the initiatives, courageously spear-headed by Sean Brody, Founder and CEO of the Surf Resource Network, our gumption to learn more felt no less urgent and real than Mandela’s unction to move in South Africa’s foreboding fall air.

Not only do they recognize surf as a powerful resource to make way for community development, SRN aims, “… to support local economies by partnering with organizations working to create positive outcomes for developing communities in surf rich regions”– the Surf Resource Network.

We stand for the empowerment of lives that- by circumstances, uncontrollable- were left powerless. We believe in giving a voice to those otherwise left voiceless. CreativeWave Movement knows the power of leveraging surf to implement community development; the Surf Resource Network actively uses the power of surf to implement community development.

A match made in heaven…. stay tuned for details on the exciting Robertsport projects the Surf Resource Network achieves, and ways you can serve.
